If this sounds familiar

You're good at practicing law. Consultations feel like interviews where you're the one being judged.

You prepare. You answer every question. You give solid advice. Then the prospect says "I need to think about it" — and signs with someone who charges less and explains less. You leave money on the table, and you can feel it happening in real time.

01 · The Consultation
"I over-explain and give away too much free advice."

You built your expertise over years. So you keep proving it — and turn a 45-minute consultation into a free seminar. The prospect leaves informed, grateful, and gone.

02 · The Fees
"I rush the money, apologize for it, or just drop the number and hope."

Fees become the weakest moment in the conversation. The prospect hears the hesitation. They use it against you.

03 · The Decision
"They say 'I'm talking to a few attorneys' — and I don't know what to do with that."

They ghost. They pick the cheaper firm. You replay the consultation wondering which sentence lost them, and never quite land on it.

The problem isn't your law. Nobody ever trained you to sell it.

Why a room, not a 1:1

You don't get better at consultations alone. You get better with reps, in front of people who'll tell you the truth.

For years I taught this one attorney at a time. It worked. But the best moments always happened when someone heard a peer role-play the exact objection they'd been losing — and watched it get fixed live. That's what a cohort gives you that a private session can't.

Live reps, not theory

You practice on real objections in the room — the price shopper, the comparison caller, the "let me talk to my spouse." You say the words out loud before you say them to a paying prospect.

A room that raises the floor

Six attorneys, same problem, different practice areas. You learn as much watching someone else's consultation get rebuilt as you do from your own. Estate planning teaches family law. Criminal defense teaches PI.

Accountability with a deadline

Eight weeks, one cohort, a start and a finish. You run real consultations between sessions and bring what happened. No drifting. No "I'll get to it."

I made every mistake in this program with real clients and real bills. A cohort is the version where the tuition isn't a lost retainer.

The eight-week arc

Week one is diagnosis. Week eight is instinct.

We don't dump a curriculum on you and hope it sticks. Each week takes what happened in your actual consultations that week and rebuilds it — in order, foundation to fluency.

Week 1 — Diagnosis & Foundation

Audit your recent consultations as a group. Name the three leaks costing you the most revenue. Build your new consultation on the Trust Equation.

Week 2 — Pre-Consultation & Qualifying

DEEP Discovery — Diagnose, Explore, Evaluate, Plan. Qualifying questions that filter price shoppers before they eat an hour. What to send a prospect before they show up.

Week 3 — The Opening

The first five minutes that set who's leading. Questions that surface the real concern, not the surface one. Expertise without giving away the store.

Week 4 — The Consultation Itself

The GUIDE Consultation Framework, open to sign. You guide instead of getting interviewed. You read the room and adapt live.

Week 5 — Fees & Value

The VALUE Fee Presentation — present your fee without apologizing. Put your worth in dollar terms. Handle "you're too expensive" without dropping your number.

Week 6 — Objections

The RESOLVE Objection Handling framework against the seven objections you hear most. A specific response to each — "I need to think about it," "I'm talking to other attorneys," "Can you do it for less?"

Week 7 — The Ask & the Follow-Through

Ask for the retainer without being pushy. Create urgency honestly. Next-step clarity that stops the ghosting before it starts.

Week 8 — Follow-Up & Fluency

Follow-up sequences that convert without feeling like a pitch. Handle the "not yet" prospect. A final live review — the system running without me in the room.

Real consultations, real reps

Apply what we built in the next week of actual consultations. Not homework calls. Your calendar.

Bring one to the room

Anonymized notes or a recording from a real consultation. We diagnose it together, rewrite it, and role-play the fix.

Cohort channel access

A private cohort channel with Pam and your peers between sessions. You don't sit with a broken script for a week.

Anatomy of a session

Ninety minutes, live, applied.

Every session runs the same loop: review what happened this week, diagnose what broke, rebuild it, and practice it out loud until it sounds like you — not me, and not the person next to you.

20 min · Debrief the room

How many consultations, how many signed, where did it slip? You'll hear your own problem in someone else's week.

30 min · Teardown

We take one real consultation to the group and rebuild it on the spot. I point at the exact moment the dynamic changed.

30 min · Live role-play

You practice on the hard prospect — the price shopper, the comparison caller, the one who won't commit. Reps, before it costs you a retainer.

10 min · This week's assignment

One specific script, one specific objection, one specific outcome to test before we meet again. Nothing vague.

What you keep

  • Complete script library — opening, questioning, objection, ask
  • Email templates for pre- and post-consultation follow-up
  • Trust Equation methodology workbook
  • Qualifying intake forms + pre-consultation positioning assets
  • A recording of every session, transcribed and searchable
  • The private cohort channel for the full eight weeks
Curriculum

Eight weeks, one consultation — rebuilt end to end.

The order is deliberate. You can't fix the ask if the opening is still interviewing you. Each phase is built on a named framework — the same ones I built and tested inside my own firm.

01

Foundation & the Trust Equation

Why sales advice built for SaaS and real estate falls apart in a legal consultation. The Trust Equation applied to legal services. Your consultation structure — before, during, after.

02

Pre-Consultation Positioning — DEEP Discovery

Qualifying questions that filter price shoppers. What to send before the consultation. Intake forms and templates that prime a prospect to hire you before they arrive.

03

Opening & Building Rapport

The first five minutes that set the tone. Questions that uncover the real concern. Expertise without the free seminar.

04

The Consultation — GUIDE Framework

Your consultation structure for your practice area. Educating without over-explaining. Guiding the conversation without pressure.

05

Fees & Pricing Confidence — VALUE Presentation

When and how to present fees without apology. Your value in dollar terms. "You're too expensive," handled — without dropping your price.

06

Objection Handling — RESOLVE

The seven objections you hear most, each with a response you can actually say out loud. "I'm talking to other attorneys." "I need to think about it." "Can you do it for less?"

07

The Ask & Next Steps

Asking for the engagement without being pushy. Honest urgency. Next-step clarity that prevents the ghost.

08

Follow-Up Systems & Fluency

Follow-up sequences that convert without feeling salesy. Handling the "not yet." Final review — the system running without me in the room.

Eight weeks later

From hoping they'll hire you to knowing exactly what to say.

Who's in the room with you

The only legal sales expert who has actually practiced law.

I'm Pam Foley — former practicing attorney, founder of a three-location family law firm, and author of The Ultimate Guide to Legal Services Sales. I've personally run thousands of consultations. I've made every mistake you're probably making right now — with real clients and real bills. Every framework I teach was stress-tested inside my own practice before it ever left my office.

I'm not a guru and I don't do motivation. I'm an attorney who learned how to sell — and I'm the one person in this space who can tell you why the hard-sell tactics borrowed from SaaS and real estate will embarrass you in front of a client in crisis.

Before you apply

The questions every attorney asks.

Why a cohort instead of 1:1?

Because you don't get better at consultations in a vacuum. You get better with reps and honest feedback. In a room of six attorneys, you learn as much watching a peer's consultation get rebuilt as you do from your own — and you practice the hard objections live before they cost you a retainer. Everything is still calibrated to your practice area. You're just not doing it alone. Want it fully private? The 1:1 is here.

Why eight weeks?

Sales skill doesn't stick from a weekend or a webinar. You need real consultations between sessions to apply what we build, and the feedback loop has to run several times before the new behavior becomes instinct. A week between sessions gives you reps to test; the next session course-corrects them. Eight weeks is long enough to change how you sell and short enough to actually finish.

Will this work for my practice area?

Yes. This has run for family law, estate planning, criminal defense, personal injury, business law, immigration, and IP. The psychology of buying legal services is universal — prospects decide on trust, credibility, and perceived value. Your practice area shapes the scripts, not the framework. You'll break out with peers in your vertical, and if your area isn't listed we'll confirm fit when you apply.

I've done sales training before. It didn't stick. Why is this different?

Most sales training is built for SaaS or real estate and dressed up for lawyers. I'm a former practicing attorney. Every framework was tested inside a real law firm — with real ethics rules, referral dynamics, and clients in crisis. And you're applying it on your own consultations, in real time, every week. Nothing generic survives the first teardown.

Is $5,000 the real price?

It's the founding-cohort price for the first October room, and it rises after. The 1:1 program is $9,500 for six private months; the cohort gives you the same frameworks in a group for less, with the added value of a room of peers. Payment plans are available. Most attorneys recover it in the first one or two retainers they sign at improved fees.

Do I have to share real consultations in front of the group?

You bring anonymized notes or a recording. It's the highest-leverage thing we do — and watching a peer's consultation get rebuilt is where half the learning happens. If confidentiality or ethics rules in your jurisdiction make it complicated, we'll work through it before the cohort starts. Nothing that identifies a client leaves the room.

What happens when I apply?

A short application and a 30-minute fit call. I ask about your recent consultations, your intake, your practice area, and your fees. You leave with three specific leaks named and ranked by revenue impact — and an honest "yes, this cohort is a fit" or "no, here's what would serve you better." No pitch, no pressure. Seats are confirmed in the order applications come in.
